Love Wins

a mother

two sons

same city

miles apart

an unseen force

tries to separate them

isolate them

it sits on buses and trains

it floats through the air

and clings to hair

this virus isn’t playing fair

but, there is something

much stronger

and lasts longer

that’s LOVE

and a mother’s love

well, that’s the strongest of all

and we’ll all be together again

because love wins!
