A third-generation romance reader, Maureen Anderson is a poet, writer, and author of the contemporary romance, November Rain.
A dedicated site-coordinator of a national young adult program, Maureen spends her free time writing poetry, romance and women’s fiction with diverse characters that thrive in a world outside her own. Her debut novel, November Rain, carries the reader from the streets of Harlem, New York to tropical San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Maureen travels around the United States and the Caribbean learning more about the places where her characters learn to love.
When she is not working out of a corner of her home and cafés throughout the country, Maureen sings soprano in her church choir, and loves to spoil her two sons and adorable grandson, Elijah.
Always drawn to creative ways of expression, Maureen plays the flute and loves to sketch, paint, and color.
